This wireless smoke detector has a built in test button and comes with a 9V battery. Pressing the test button causes the alarm to sound. It connects wirelessly to any compatible house alarm or can be used standalone. When connected to the Medilarm Pro Personal Alarm for the Elderly it will also sound an alarm locally at the base unit as well as dialling out.
